Bio

My interest in cemeteries began at an early age. My family lived near Chicago's Graceland Cemetery, and my older sister used to walk me through there in my baby carriage. As a pre-teen living close to Calvary Cemetery in Evanston I'd occasionally visit to tidy up old neglected graves. When I began to research my family in the 1970s locating and photographing their memorials became a priority. The discovery of RAOGK led me to volunteer to take photos for others that were too far away for them to do. And the fantastic, Find A Grave site continues to fuel my interest in adding to their records. It also has turned out to be a great way of making contact and discovering new family members.
