"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.
But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Diet Pepsi in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
'WOO HOO what a ride!' "

|Karen Measel||RE: Thomas Garis & Anna R. Freed son John E. Garis (1870) you have him buried at Port Carbon, PA|
Thanks for the information, it looks like when his parents died here in Port Carbon they had a tombstone for John and he was not buried there but with is wife . I deleted the tombstone in Port Carbon and edited his birthdate and place with his father where he is currently buried.
|B. Hahn||RE: Henry Leinbach Obituary 1832-1906|
You are always more than welcome to use anything that I post in any way that you want. Our tiny library in Colman has many years (between 1904 and 1952) of the Colman Argus newspaper, which stopped publication in the early 80s. I've been adding the obituaries from those issues to Find A Grave, since they aren't available otherwise except in microfilm from the state library. I'm glad that you have found them useful! Best regards from South Dakota.

|B. Hahn||RE: Henry Leinbach of Moody county, SD|
I used the obituary which is included in Henry's record as the source. I'll let you make the call; I know that obituaries sometimes have errors as well, but I thought that it was worth making the suggestion.

PS- We are in a hot spell. Wish I was there! I have a classmate in Haines, Alaska.
Feel free to use any of my photos and thanks for asking for permission. I took the photos over five years ago so I don't remember the cemetery too well but there were several stones that were unreadable. Sorry! Barb

Patsy: I noticed a duplicate memorial for Elisabeth (Ortt) Schuler (79869218), which you left flowers at. I am deleting this memorial because it is a duplicate of #44302147 (Elizabeth Schuler) created earlier. I have forwarded her maiden name on to them. You may want to reattach your flowers to memorial 44302147; sorry for your trouble, but I'm trying to eliminate any duplicates, Kitty

|Barry Keefer||Catharine Stamm|
Feel free to use the photo. Keep a watch on the Follmer Church and Paradise Church sites. This Spring and Summer I hope to finish photographing any of the OLD stones that haven't already been photographed or documented. There may be more that you are interested in.
