In the early 80's my brother and I worked on our family history the old fashioned way, by letter and books. I've taken up the search again and as they say, the rest is history.|
A special thank you to all of the family members that contributed to this labor of love.
Jacks - Matthews, Garshwiler, Seeley
Richardson - Dawes, Elburn, Purdy, Alger
Elkins - Pierce, Gream, Guill

I don't have Electric O Jacks in my tree, I wish I did, just for the name!

Jolene, what do you know about Oscar Edmund Jacks. I found a Missouri Application for Marriage License for him and Jane Colburn Hill, 8 May 1930, on Archives. His age at the time is 36, which puts his birth in 1894. But, maybe this isn't our Oscar. He is 34 at death in 1937. I'm waiting for a hard copy of his death certificate, hoping for burial info.
If you would like, I'll send an email link to my Self/Jacks family tree.
Thanks so much for your time and efforts.

Thank you so much for your Jacks bios. You made my Jacks search so much easier. I was stalled at Wm M Jacks (1789-1873) until I found your Find A Grave Memorial.
Also, there is a second F A G memorial for a few Jacks people, the data-only type in the Anders-Jacks Cemetery.
Again, thanks so much for all of your excellent work.

I have sent you edits on David and Emma McKelvey. Would you look at them and if you approve of them add them to their memorials. Thanks.

Hi all! I have information on Garshwiler Family Tree and others. Feel free to contact me. Many names and history/stories...details of life..etc. I did this family research back in the 80's when I was 16. It was so much fun when I had the time.
The Thomas Marion Jacks who is buried in Hampton Cemetery (mem # 126112647) was married to a member of my Willis family. If you are descended from them I sure would like to hear from you.

Hi! I have uploaded your request for a photo for Homer. His parents David & Emma were buried beside him so I created memorials for them and have transferred them to you.
|Shannon B||Fred Abner Few - Mt Muncie|
Hi! I have uploaded your photo request for Fred Abner. I saw that he shares a plot with others. So I looked and wanted to see if I could find a connection before informing you, I hope that was okay, if not I do apologize. A quick search on ancestry.com and I found that he is buried next to his wife, Mabel, his daughter, Bessie; his grandparents Dr. Samuel A. & Mary Marshall; his Great Uncle William Marshall
I have created memorials for all of them that didn't already have memorials. I would be more than happy to transfer them to you if you would like. Just let me know
Samuel (# 129800065)
Mary (# 129800232)
Mabel (# 129800293)
Bessie (# 129800282)
William (# 129800533)
