I am a Byrd by marriage. I was born and raised in Nederland, Jefferson County, Texas. My maiden name is Simoneaux and my parents are Melvin and Barbara (Falgout). My husband is Glenn and I have a daughter, Sydney. My grand daughter, Madison, was born on Christmas eve 2013. I have one brother, Thad, who died in 1991 and one sister, Rebecca. My in laws are Faye and Neely Howard Byrd. I visit cemeteries as often as I can, and I believe we should never forget those buried there.
