I have been doing my geneology now for over 36 years, it started with my science teacher (Mr. Tommy Guice) making me do one for class, and after that I was hooked. I have compiled a lot of information on the Gilleland/Phillips/Lance/Thomas/Dobbs/Teague/Tigue families. I do believe that preserving our past is part of our future and I think it's very important to know where you come from. I currently live in Miami, Florida, but long for the green grass, mountains, trees and cows of Alabama...hahaha
