I live in Pensacola, but am not a native. I will be happy to photograph and post your relative's headstone or marker from any of the local cemeteries including Barrancas National Cemetery.|
I am an avid genealogist whose roots run deep in New England and Quebec.
I believe that all our ancestors are just waiting to be found, and that they all should be remembered.

|Walter Guptill||RE: Jennie Johnson|
Happy to have been able to provide the photo. I'm from this area and travel past this cemetery regularly when are at our home in Maine, but frankly had never noticed the sign or the dirt road out to the field of the Anderson Cemetery. We were on our way to a boat show today and I said to my wife, that I wanted to make a quick stop, having seen the sign the day before. The road has new gravel on it and was really soft, but we made it OK as we have an SUV. When I get to the cemetery, I used the Find A Grave app on my phone and nothing shows for this cemetery. Upon doing a search for a random headstone I got a hit, found the cemetery and then noticed your photo request.
The stone is in pretty good shape, but could use a little cleaning. There are a number of stones in this cemetery that have not been photographed, so intend to go back and photograph them. At the same time I will gently clean Jennie's stone. It's a really nice stone and just need a little bit of TLC. I will take another picture when I finish and post it.
Thanks for interest in Find A Grave and the volunteer photo's you've taken for others.

|Elwood Kresal||RE: Henry Loose|
I'm beginning to think that Henry Loose may have been a spy during WW1 and possible WW2 and his spy name was Charles W. LeClare, to hide his true identity. He was married to my Grand mother's sister. I can find no trace of his wife or kids after 1940. Traces of Henry were gone after 1930 until his death in 1947. I'm going to look at different ideas until I get this figured out. I have hits on distant relatives on DNA. I have no idea who these people are, maybe one of his great grand kids. Who knows. They are listed as 6th and 7th cousins.
