I was born on May 8, 1971 in New York City, but presently reside in Malibu, California, with houses outside Las Vegas, Nevada (which is presently rented out), and in New Paltz, New York.
I have been married since June 25, 1999 to my high school sweetheart, a martial arts grand mistress, and we are the parents of six children...Anya, an aspiring journalist, born 2001; Ilya, an aspiring soccer player, born 2003; twins Peter, an aspiring actor, and Katya, an aspiring coloratura, born 2005; Kaya, born 2008, and Tatiana, born 2010, both students...Kaya in high school, Tatiana in junior high school.
I am an actor, singer, dancer and former fashion model, standing 6'1" tall and weighing 180 pounds, but I will gain or lose weight whenever a role demands. Due to my work and travels as an actor and model, I speak quite a few foreign languages, including four Chinese dialects (Cantonese, Mandarin, Shanxi & Taiwanese [Min Nan]) and two dialects of Gaelic (Irish and Scottish).
I am a full-fledged grand master in martial arts and teach part-time with my wife.
I am an all-around sports enthusiast, excelling in martial arts, capoeira [Brazilian kickboxing], soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, diving, surfing, sailing, bicycling, running, inline skating and archery.
My hobbies include reading (especially scripts and plays), model-building, playing piano and guitar and photography.
Because of my athletic ability, I met eligibility requirements for the 1992 Diving and Gymnastics teams but decided to forego the Olympics in favor of my education.
