Elizabeth Nichols, Schooley Chapel
Hi Phyllis,
I noted that you entered a memorial for Samuel Nichols who was born abt 1746 in Fauquier County, Virginia, died on 10 Feb 1824 and is buried in the Schooley Chapel Cemetery in Ross County, Ohio. I am interested in locating the grave of his wife, Elizabeth; the photograph on your page indicates that "Elizabeth, wife of Humphrey" which is the wrong person.
I would be very grateful if you or one of the volunteers could look at this again to see if there is another tombstone, perhaps next to Samuel's.
Many thanks!
Karen

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently trying to identify the last resting places of many soldiers/sailors that had ties to Vermont. Charles B. Davis is one such soldier. I am asking you if I may use the photo you posted on his Find A Grave Memorial page, to post on the Vermont Civil Qar site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You would receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration,

Phyllis,

You are so kind to take the time to send the edits and I want you to know that I appreciate you sending them! It takes you a lot more time to transcribe than it does for me to copy and paste. Thank you so much, especially for your kind words.
