|I became interested in genealogy through listening to stories told by my grandmother. I will be glad to photograph tombstones in Clay, Talladega, and Calhoun Counties in Alabama, but only have time to do this during the summer. My primary names are Dean, Hudson, Carpenter, Patterson, Grogan, Short, Hampton. My husband's surnames are Boling, Neely, and Humphries. Please feel free to use any of the photos I have taken. If you wish for me to transfer any of my memorials to you, please let me know. Unless I am a direct descendent, I will gladly transfer them to you.|

Sorry it took so long to get back i have found that all Burroughs in Alabama are related one way or another if you woulf like to share info i am up for it also
Are you still researching the Hays family in Blount County Alabama? I believe Catherine counts Hays was my four times great grandmother and the wife of Stanwick Hays, my four times great grandfather. I just wondered if you have information on them. I have only recently discovered the family beyond their daughter Margaret who was my three times great grandmother. It is actually quite a story and quite a scandal. I hope you can give me information and pictures to see I saw a picture of Margaret half sister Mary they have the same father.

Thank you for the reply, Ellie Hays is a distant cousin of my wife, but we never knew the family. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Yes you may use them. If you would like, I can transfer them to you. Just need Memorial numbers.

I am not a relative, just happened to have the newspapers for that time frame and thought I'd send some added info. Thanks for the work you do on Findagrave!

Miss Bee you have my permission to use the pictures.

You took a photo of my grandfather's grave. First of all, thank you! I have a question. There is a stone that you took a picture of that says Howell and Navy Seal. Is that a monument for the family or does this mean that my grandfather was a navy seal?
Any information about the formulation of the the tombstones would be great.
