I just found this man in my 1923 Elstonian. I have transferred him over to you. Related??

Hi Ashley. I am Warkentein lineage. Christian Wilhelm Johann Warkentein was a distant relative. Caroline was my ggggrandmother (if I have this down correctly). I was adopted as an infant in 1966, but have traced my bio-mother's line back this far. I love to hear from you and maybe discuss our distant relatives! I'm thinking you and I are distant cousins. Pretty neat! I'm also a contributor here at F.A.G. maybe you can reach me through this forum? Or try tamross at comcast dot net

Thank you for getting back to me. I have his Purple Heart in my classroom on display. Do you have any pictures of him? I bought it off ebay a long time ago. I should be getting his files from St. Louis and I can send you copies. For the past 30+ years we have been researching the Indiana men and women that have served.

Thank you so much in letting me manage my family grave. I really appreciate all the work you have done for findagrave. Thanks again - Steve Howell

Are you related to Ralph R. Warkentien? I have his Purple Heart in my classroom and I use it in my displays on World War II. I really need a picture of him.

Hello Ashley, You have a request for Henry Turbin d 1913 at Brant Cemetery, Saginaw County, MI. I spent about an hour searching for requests today. I located a Wm. Henry Turbin 1848-1914. He had a shared stone with Goodworth 1861-1942. Could this be the same person? I can message the creator of memorial and see if they have any more info unless you can confirm.

I wanted to thank you so very much for posting the article on Henry Passmore's page referring to the mentioned book. He had a dgt named Abigail whom I'm descended from. I was trying to tie in a male Passmore for her father and was trying to use findagrave to do it. And it's him!! If it weren't for you posting this I would still be in the dark on this line. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Thanks for the transfer, Ashley! I'll take care of her. I actually remember her two brothers from an early 50's family reunion in Wisconsin.

Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.
Thank you! Ace

Hello. I am also descended from Martha and her husband Henry. I am having trouble finding documentation for her family and the line from Germany. What do you use for documentation on this line?
thanks and have a great day.
