Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for several years. I especially enjoy finding old cemeteries that no one has visited in generations. Please contact me if I can take a picture of the gravesite of your loved. I would love to take a moment while taking the photo to tell your loved one they have not been forgotten.

I am also a descendant of civil war soldiers from the 36th, 43d, and 60th Tenn CSA regiments. I would love to connect with other descendants. Please see our 43d descendants website at www.43dtenn.com

Researching: McDonald, Morris, Dunn, Bohanan, Ogle, Ratcliff, Johnson, Taylor, McNabb, Noe....

43d Tennessee Infantry
Hi Colleen,

I am writing to you on behalf of my husband...Paul Hudson, JR. His Great Great Grandfather & Great Great Grand Uncle was in the 43th Tennessee Infantry. His name was Charles Ferguson. Him and his brother James Schoolfield Ferguson. All from Bledsoe County, Tennessee.

I see you have his picture and a group picture that I have also.

I have the original picture of Charles Ferguson that was handed down to me from my uncle Junior which was handed down from my grandmother...Addie Lee Womack Cordell.

Just wanted to touch bases with you since we have the same interest.

Hope we can share more information and photo's.

Thank you,

Karen & Paul,Jr.

McDonald or Hutcheson Cemetery photos
Still trying to locate the cemetery by the name of McDonald or Hutcheson in Hamilton County, TN. You have some photos posted for that cemetery in March, 2009. Could you help me find it?

RE: James Purcell Bolt
I disagree due to the Georgia death records stating 1923 and the biggest reason is that he and Nancy are both listed in the 1920 Census.

I believe some one listed him wrong at the county level and then some filled out find-grave wrong.

What you think ?

Rick

Nicholas John Jameson 1893-1948
Colleen, is Nicholas John Jameson your ancestor? He's my great grandfather ... actually, as I recently learned ... he's my step-great-grandfather. He married my great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Goostree, but her name on the marriage certificate was Mary E. Block. Plus, he names my grandmother, Elise Marie Jameson (Block?) as his step-daughter in his obituary (even though "Jameson" is listed as her maiden name on her death certificate). I've come to be fascinated by "Nick", as he arrived in New York in 1907 at age 14 (unaccompanied) ... on the Lusitania! He is a WWI veteran, having become a US citizen, and as many who are of Greek heritage, he entered the food service business here in the US. Even though I do not have his blood, I would still like to know what he looks like. If you are a relative and have a photo of him, would you be willing to share it? One more weird fact ... the James Williams mentioned in Nick's obit was my natural grandfather, who ultimately adopted me as his daughter, and who was, at the time of Nick's death, divorced from Elsie ... Nick's step-daughter, Nick having been formerly married to my grandfather's ex-mother-in-law. My family tree is warped! Hope you have a picture! Sincerely, Casey Caldwell Williams Rowland.
