Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for several years. I especially enjoy finding old cemeteries that no one has visited in generations. Please contact me if I can take a picture of the gravesite of your loved. I would love to take a moment while taking the photo to tell your loved one they have not been forgotten.

I am also a descendant of civil war soldiers from the 36th, 43d, and 60th Tenn CSA regiments. I would love to connect with other descendants. Please see our 43d descendants website at

Photo Request - George A. Paul
Thank you for posting the photo of George Paul's gravestone. It shows the missing information I needed to confirm that he is the correct George Paul for whom I was looking.

Thank you for taking time to photograph and post the Pittman marker. As a volunteer myself I have insight as to how special people like you are. Time from your life to do this for a stranger humbles me.Then you go further by posting extra images and data which is much appreciated. Plus the images are of such quality that they can be printed to a full size photo to share with the elders who aren't on computers. I always give credit to the photographer on my ancestry tree. I never take people like you for granted. Again, my heartfelt thanks.

Thanks Colleen for taking the picture of Gladys Hixon Fowler. On her memorial page, you have Samuel Clayton Fowler as her spouse, he is her son. Her husband was William Robert Fowler, he
is buried at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Thanks again!!

RE: Sloans - Forest Hils Cemetery
Thanks for your response. I am trying to see how they fit into my tree. Catherine Baeur? Guille Sloan was a sister to one of my Guille grandfathers. I don't know who her husband was.
My mother's mother was Elizabeth Augustus Guille who married my grandfather, Reno Eugene McWilliams.

RE: Henry H. Cochran, Jr. Tombstone Picture
Hi Colleen,

Found a source - - page 127/156

that says Henry Cochran d. June 11 1934 is buried in Memorial (White Oak) Cemetery but he's not listed in Find A Grave's records. I've emailed the cemetery asking them to confirm his grave is there and to ask for specific directions to it. Will let you know what I hear.

RE: Henry H. Cochran, Jr. Tombstone Picture
I'll check to be certain but I think now that he was interred at Memorial in Chattanooga although they don't list him there. I'll find the paperwork I mentioned earlier and let you know. Thanks again and take care.
