In 2006 I googled my mother's name and found her on Find a Grave--this was a joyful day for me. Of course, I had to find everyone else! It took awhile after joining (initially to place 'flowers' on their memorials) before really understanding enough to make memorials myself. This I began in 2011, starting with my darling husband. Was involved as a bereavement facilitator for my church (right after Ken's death) - am very aware of the needs of the grieving to tribute their loved ones. Find a Grave is a wonderful place to do just that. Am also quite experienced in the pain which insensitive/unthinking people can inflict. (Am presently not actively facilitating--although I still find myself helping with grief issues any where I happen to be.) |
My direct family lines are through Fonnesbeck, Duval, Gerbet, and Bissegger families.
My husband's direct family lines are Pitcher, Jorgensen, Plowman, and Barrett.
And many, many more before!
However, I am fascinated by all.
Have found several loved ones and friends through findagrave and am thoroughly hooked on helping to make all of our searches more satisfying, productive, educational and just plain fun!

The information for Frederick Alexander Neuberger contains incorrect and incomplete information. How can I best work with you to make the corrections? He came to America alone (no family) in Dec 1877 at the age of 18. The list of children is incomplete.

It's to see that a family member will be caring for Jan's memorial and happy to make the transfer into your hands. Bless you caring. And thank you for your request.

|Jennifer Taylor Nichols||RE: Dale and transfers|
You are so very welcome. If there are other family member memorials created by Dale that you'd like to have if they are still in his name let me know and I'll transfer. If you see others recently have been transferred they are only being fostered so please reach out and they will happily transfer them to you.

Dale Caplin passed away 2/14. I've noticed you appear to be closely related to Lynn August Skabelund so I taken the liberty of transferring his Find A Grave memorial over to you. If this is not acceptable kindly transfer it back to Dale's account. I'm working with the family to insure all of Dale's memorials are properly fostered. Thanks. Thanks for the clarification. It had me totally confused. I will send you more names when I think of them and will also help with photos from the yearbooks if you want. I don't have a scanner but can use my iPhone camera like I did for Chris Anderson and Mike Corbett.

You have done an amazing job on the Fonnesbeck family. Thank you so much for your work. You've inspired me to fill in some gasps on my own family tree. Did we meet at Elaine Rasmuson's house a few years back? I was visiting her with my husband and two small children from Texas and met someone working on Fonnesbeck genealogy that I believe could have been you!

Thanks Pat for the catch! I deleted the memorial I created and sent the info so that the other person could update theirs.
