She is buried there as well. Many different people are buried under each stone at that very old cemetery. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I want to thank you for allowing me to manage my Grandfathers Site.

I believe you are right. I just looked her grave up at the library.
The book CEMETERY RECORDS OF MADISON COUNTY VOLUME II, 199, page: 170 has her name spelled Poss but lists her as being buried with Poff family.
Believe someone made a mistake when they recorded her name or typed it wrong. Anyways, I passed the mistake on. I have changed it to Poff.
Thanks for catching it.

Actually she could have been born in Madison co.
I beleve she was born in Warren Co KY.
Her parents followed Laban to Warren in 1806 and were married in 1813 there.,
Laban and Susannah Simmons Smart moved to Tennessee for one year, then to Warren County, Kentucky about 1806 and then onto Madison County, Illinois in 1816. (from "Family History of the Joseph Taylor, Jr. & Sarah Best Family"
by Shari H. Franke)

The gravestone spells in Macomber, the gravestone is a primary source.
|Take Grave Care||Mary Fuller & Rheuba McDonnald Graves|
After an exhaustive search for the grave markers of Mary Fuller & Rheuba McDonnald at the Fullersberg Cemetery (Hinsdale, IL): I must conclude that either the graves are not marked; or that their markers are so weathered - making reading next to impossible (many of these are found).
According to the information I found both hear and at the Hinsdale Public Library's website: this cemetery is closed to the public, and is only opened for Memorial Day.
I wish you the very best luck in your pursuits. If I may be of further assistance: please do not hessitate in contacting me at once.

|Edna Mae Martin Sunvison||Thank You for Links|
Thank you so much for linking Stillborn Son Smith to his parents - Joseph and Emma. If you could also make an addition to the name. I also found on familysearch.org and a note left on Baby Smith's memorial page - his name was Thomas. Could you add "Stillborn Son" in the bio - please.
Thank you so much for your time,

I've been trying to fill your request from 2007 at Mt. Carmel and was not finding her in the cemetery book done in the 1970's. I did find her on a ancestry tree and found out her husband's name was William Elvis Rhoades, 17 Aug 1902 marriage date, Death 08/01/1970 in DeKalb, Illinois.Her husband is supposed to be at Mt. Carmel so I know there are a lot of Rhoades there so maybe I can find her now.I'm thinking maybe her maiden name was the problem. Wish me luck.
