Bio

I started doing my family genealogy in late 1998 and shortly thereafter became a member of Ancestry.com and Find A Grave.com. I ask that anyone who uses my information or pictures from either site show me as the main contributor as required by both Ancestry and Find A Grave. Also, I will be glad to transfer anyone who is part of your family. I usually check to see if some one I submit is a duplicate. Some names do not show up for what ever reason, so if I have added some one after the fact let me know and I will remove it. Remember, being nice goes both ways.

Adding a memorial from a newspaper obituary or other 3rd party source?
Find A Grave does not discourage the legitimate indexing of the deceased through obituaries or other 3rd party accounts. Newspapers represent a very good source of information as a public record. We ask that those who index and memorialize the deceased from newspapers and other 3rd party accounts do so with full respect of copyright, refrain from adding information about living people, and respond generously to the family of the deceased. Find A Grave takes no position on the appropriate timing of submitting such indexes.
