I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Please do not add the following to any memorials I have created:
*Death Certificates. Nine times out of ten, I have seen the death certificate. The memorial was probably created from the death certificate. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.
*Scanned obituaries/announcements. Should you have an obituary, type it in a Word format and send it to me by Suggest any other correction or addition and I'll add it to the bio giving you credit. When I see scanned obituaries on my memorials, I will ask you to remove it or I will have it deleted by FAG.
*Funeral home photo's. Please don't upload these to my memorials. FAG's guideline states: Only post photos for which you hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)! and No photos taken from other web sites!!!

23 Nov 2016~ You are very welcome Sue. [Ref: me sponsoring CWO Lloyd Curtis Beasley (Sr.) (Memorial # 140884854)].
CWO Beasley I don't believe I ever met, although I might have, as he served on our Coast Guard Base here in Elizabeth City NC were I worked as a Security Guard. But, where I worked, CWO Beasley's son - Petty Officer Lloyd Beasley (Jr) - also worked as my Lieutenant (my boss). I first PO Beasley (Jr) on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. And then again later on the Coast Guard base as my boss. Anyway, since Lloyd Jr was also good friend, I thought I owed him by doing something special, i.e. sponsoring his father's Memorial.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ QUESTION: Since, Lloyd Jr is not a FindAGrave Volunteer, I'd like to manage his father's Memorial (even though were not related). REASON: There's a great deal more that can be added to his bio., of all his wonderful benevolent accomplishments, his volunteer work in the area. If you cannot transfer, that's okay. In any case, thank you for all your hard work as a FindAGrave volunteer. Respectfully, Bob "Cookie" VanDuren. :-)

Yes, I am new to Find a Grave. I received a request for a photo, not sure of the procedures you reference. If you ask me to do something I try to comply. If you don't want me to do what you request, don't ask. If you are saying someone else "claimed" something then why was it not done.

You have posted pics of my husbands Great-Grandfather's headstone. These are priceless, thank you! Are you related or were giving of your time to help others?

There are no words to say how I feel, about you taking your time, to go to the graveyard, to take a picture of Charlie Jarrett's grave.
This means so much to me. I can not thank you enough. This world needs more people like you!
Thank you so much,
Crystal Jarrett Inman
Thanks for your note! Things are fine, I'm back home after a month out of state helping my mom take care of my dad, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Everyone is doing well, though. Thanks for checking on me, it means a lot. No problem on the edits, I'm getting to the backlog (over 1,200 edits pending when I finally got home!). Yikes! LG

I worked in Stanley for 17 years and I can think of no major Presbyterian Cemetery. The major one is The Lutheran Cemetery downtown. I have relatives buried in what is called the STANLEY Cemetery (Lock Black #27156125). A friend, Ross Hoffman (21332528) is buried in Christs Lutheran. If you look at the cemeteries it looks like one. There is a small chapel on the Stanley side. First Presbyterian is on the Stanley/Lucia Road and I do not think they have a cemetery. Who are you looking for?
