I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Sorry about the mix up in the name. I guess I was in a hurry or something.
I left her last name as Doster. I get confused on what is the best way to enter someone who has been married more than once and being buried with the first. I also wonder how the family would feel. Do they want it both ways or what.
I will try to research the proper way to do this but for now I will leave it as Doster.
Thanks for the note.

Thank you for the photo of William and the update on Anna. Thanks for checking to see if the engraving is done in the future. Also thanks for the explanation of Margaret Rankin. You have continued to go above and beyond and it is greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much for trying to get a photo of her headstone. I don't understand why it isn't there though, her obituary says that there was a memorial graveside service. Thanks for your efforts anyway.

Sue so sorry, i just saw this message. I was with a friend one day just out taking pics and saw this church and cemetery. It is a very small cemetery and I am sure that I photographed each marker that I saw. Even looks like someone else has photographed it as well as I see his pics on the memorials as well as mine. I just added 1 interment, but photographed all I saw. Good Luck

This is my grandmother and I was wondering if you could transfer her memorial to me. I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Thank you for the information. I will make those request now for my father's and grandparent's graves and monuments.

I just stumbled onto this site last night and that information had already been listed for my mother (Edith Mae Hunter Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery) and my father (Ralph Alexander Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery). First, how do I post a picture of the grave memorial for my parents on this site (It is next to the grave memorial for my grandparents John Shipp and Ida Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery). Second, how do I ensure that the middle name for my grandfather is corrected. It is listed as John Craven Shipp but his middle name is Cravor. My father gave me his middle name so I have it on great information that the correct middle name is Cravor and not Craven. I have also had to correct it in ancestry.com a couple of times as well. Thank you again for your work. Sebastian Shipp
