Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 36 years old and I have been researching my family for 16 years now. I mainly do genealogical research in Jasper County, Indiana and Magoffin & Floyd counties in Kentucky. Any cemetery information I add is extremely accurate as far as those buried there and the locations pinpointed on the maps. Not only do I spend a lot of time recording and photographing cemeteries, I have a passion of restoring abandoned graveyards. Also, when I create memorials on this site, I try and to the extra mile to research the individual to add additional information from birth & death records, obits, etc.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.

Ah, you've already got Anna...Let me look and try again with the Archdiocese records. Has anyone gone and tried to find Anna? I have to stop by Mt Carmel which is across the street from Queen of Heaven sometime before we get a lot of snow and I can have a look for her if no one else has...Mary

Hi Bobby-Are they Catholic? The Archdiocese does have a database of all their cemeteries which is available at on a kiosk at most Archdiocese cemeteries. Give me the names and I'll see if I can locate where they might be. As for a general Cook County listing, I don't know of any resources that combine listings unfortunately. I went out yesterday and did find Richard and Eugenia and will post their pictures shortly...Mary

Briefly, Sol was a guard at the Pontiac Prison. He was beaten to death with a pipe by a young teenage inmate. I have that article for you. The young inmate was taken to jail and within months, was sentenced to be hung. Despite pleas from his mother and others who felt he was too young, he was eventually hung. It was the last hanging ever in this county.

Sol is listed on several websites that honor police, firefighters, prison workers and EMT's who died on the job. You can probably find those if you google Sol's name. (Use "Sol" Jones and not John.)

I'll send the articles to you by email. Pam

Sol Jones--Are you related to him? I have information on the circumstances in which he died and what happened after that. Would you like this information? Please let me know and I will be happy to share it with you. Thanks, Pam

St Adalbert Cemetery-George Schwartz
Hi Bobby-George Schwartz was buried in an unmarked term grave in Term Section SA which was renamed to Section 54. Due to the renaming and renumbering of the sections it is not possible to locate the original gravesite. I placed an overview picture of Section 54 on his memorial page with comments indicating the grave is unmarked attached to the picture...Mary

I've put all of the information that I have about his family at Ancestry.com.

James Willie is my brother. He was stillborn.
My mother is Delphia Lee Conley, she is buried in Madison Co. Ohio at Big Darby. Mom passed away 14 Jun 2011.
