Some time later, I received a photo request. I honored that request. I noticed that person was a geneology specialist and I asked her for help finding my Great Grandmother's maiden name. Well, she found for me that I am a Mecartea Direct Descendent, a California 49er Gold Rush Pioneer Family. My daughter is 7th Generation Californian. I am forever grateful to my friend and findagrave.
