Memorial# 61551315 Eliza Leger
Hello. I submitted an edit request to link her to her to her parents (my 2GGs) but am wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial to me so that I can make family linkages, etc. My # is 47874920. If you wish to maintain the memorial, I hope you will soon agree to link her to her parents Asa Emerson/Eunice Carrack. Thank you for your kind consideration.

Hi John.. On your Memorial #32974624 I see you wrote: 41 years old, on gravestone. So I put in a gravestone photo request. request was filled but there is no gravestone. I was just wondering if you had a gravestone picture or could the plot # be wrong?

Austin R. Adams
John, I have been researching the history of the Massachusetts for the 150th Anniversary 1865 - 2015

I believe the Austin R. Adams you have posted was a state police deputy constable for a very short time.

Austin Reuben Adams was born in 1844 in West Brookfield son of Reuben and Ann (Deborah) Hooker Adams. At age 19, Austin enlisted with the 1st Unattached M.V.M. Infantry in April 1864. He mustered out of service on August 1, 1864. He married Elise G. (Gertrude) Tewksbury circa 1874.
Massachusetts State Police Chief Constable George Washington Boynton appointed Austin a state police deputy constable for Suffolk County in September 1874. He was on the department roster in January 1875. On February 13, 1875 Governor William Gaston signed Chapter 15 of the Acts of 1875: An Act to establish a State Detective Force, which replaced the State Police Constable Act of 1865. Austin was not appointed to the state detective force. In the 1880 Census he was living in Northborough and listed his occupation as “Officer in State Reform School.” Austin R. Adams died at age 46 on October 25, 1891 in Malden and is buried in Forest Dale Cemetery.

transfer request
Hi... I'm wondering if you are family to her? If not, I'd like to take over her record, as she's my aunt and will compile her with the rest of my family. Thanks.
