Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Registered Nurse and live in the Tulsa. I have done geneology on my husband's family in the Joplin area. I have recently started researching again after about a 10 year break. And I am more into it now than ever. This site has been so awesome in helping me find missing realtives and helping me "connect" known relatives.

I am extremely grateful for all the volunteer photographers and those that canvas cemeteries and put in information.

I have had a few entries transferred to me in hopes that others will contact me.

Josephine Pratt
Hi Linda -

Regarding your photo request for Josephine Pratt, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, KS...your note says her obit says she was buried in White Chapel Cemetery in North Kansas City.

North Kansas City is in Missouri, not Kansas. She is probably buried in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, Clay County, MO. Gladstone is just north of Kansas City, MO.

Hope this helps.

Linda - thanks for the added links. I did some updating on this family today. Hopefully that completes the research on this branch. Are we related? Jayne

RE: Jesse Heffley
Linda, thanks for the offer but I have not located Jesse. I believe he went to Oregon. I have sent an email seeking info. There are two memorials that you can link to their mother - Harriet Heffley #20166816. Sons are John B #10262391 and Walter #10254082. There are two other children but they are managed by other researchers. I would appreciate the linking on these two. Jayne

RE: Rosemary Crane
Thanks, Linda. Yes, I will. I asked about her several times when I went down to Stilwell. They have some of the best records of any cemetery I have been to, since it is owned by the City now.

Rosemary Crane
Rosemary is actually buried in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery in Westville, Ok. I went to the funeral home and received a copy of her info about her and her family. If you want it I can send it to you. I walked the cemetery three times, she has no stone. There is a lot of rocks there with no names. I talked to the man that dug the graves and he buried her there but could not recall exactly where. He knew her as a child. He told me that her and her husband lived up the hill from the Baptist Mission Church. They had no car. They walked everywhere unless a neighbor gave them a ride. She always walked several steps behind him. The neighbors called her "the preacher". He had no explanation for it. I hope this helps a little bit. There was no Crane in this place. Mary
