Findagrave.com provides a great hobby for contributors and a research tool for others. I look back at what I've contributed and find errors. If/when you find these errors, please do us all a favor and send me a note.|
My family includes Babb, Talbot, Jowers, Rodman, Dodson, Followell, Burrows, Boatman, Morris, Glasby, Bittick, Roberts, Shaw, Swadley, Woodford, and Earls.
When time permits, I eagerly make corrections and add relationship links. Memorial transfer requests should follow the "official FAG guideline" which I quote: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your SIBLINGS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS." (Be sure to tell me exactly how you are related or it won't get done) My side hobby is perusing the profile of requesters; as I hate being the only active contributor in this relationship. (Identify yourself; anonymous change requests will not get done)
PLEASE CONTACT ME THROUGH THE EDIT TAB WITH ALL REQUESTS. It is easier to follow the link to the memorial page than if I am contacted via my email address or a public message. If you want me to do a favor for you, please don't make it more difficult, as my time is just as valuable as yours.
Everything I contribute is the result of a personal photograph that I've taken and transcribed the information to Findagrave. The only information that I can verify is what is engraved in stone; therefore I avoid adding anything beyond what I've found in the cemetery. When I accommodate your request for changes, I will identify my source with your email address unless you provide a Findagrave ID. I have been caught in family feuds on who knows the family best.
Have a very good day,

1st, thank you for your prompt approval of my Edit Requests to Link the Staggs family members, in the Newburg, MO cemetery, to each other.
2nd, by any chance are you connected to William Babb, 1763-1819, who died in Wilson Co. TN, and was married to Ruth Ann Taylor Powell, 1756-1934???
If so, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Hey Will, This is Brittany Hunter. I am the grand daughter of William G. Waller. His daughter Anita is my mother and her sister Pam and Patricia are my aunts. I also enjoy find a grave and love doing geneology. I was close with my grandfather. His wife is still living but she got remarried and her name used to be Marjorie Mary Waller (Newport). If you would contact me by email back, I would be happy to discuss more if you have any questions or need futher evulation.
Can you create a memorial page for her spouse, Raymond Spohn Jr.?
If you want I can send you a copy of his obituary.
He was born 4/16/1924 and died 7/13/2013. It was published in the Nowata Star on July 17th, 2013

|Ann Grubb||"Colonel" and Frances (Williams) O'Dell memorials|
I did a search for this couple and did not find a memorial, so I did a new one. Once I'd found the name of the cemetery, I realized you had already done memorials for them. I am not up to par on posting info on Find-a-Grave, but there should be a way to combine these 2 memorials. Do you know how?
I sent a "suggestion" for editing the dates for Aunt Frances...just the exact dates of her birth and death. I have similar info on my memorial for Uncle Colonel. I'd be happy to share these with you if we could combine our two memorials.
|Dana||Permission to use photo of Ollie Werther's headstone|
Hi! Thanks so much for posting photos & being a volunteer. It is always so helpful to find these images!
I hope you don't mind that I posted a photo of Ollie Werther's headstone on my personal genealogy blog. I gave you credit, but I can remove it if you'd prefer.
Also, I thought you might be interested in the story of Ollie Werther. She was murdered at the young age of 20. Four people were arrested in her murder - they were family members of her husband who was in jail for arson. Presumably, they were killing her so she couldn't testify against him! Ollie's father paid for her burial and put her maiden name, Werther, on the headstone instead of her married name, Crockett. I wrote more about it here if you or anyone else is interested: http://theenthusiasticgenealogist.blogspot.com/2014/11/another-family-member-kills-family.html
Thanks again for being a volunteer and preserving and sharing these images!
