I am a native of Washington County, Nebraska, and a descendant of several pioneer settlers who arrived in Nebraska prior to its statehood: ALLEN, BOTTORFF, BOUVIER, COURVOISIER, McPHERSON, MILLS, BOGGS, CHRISTIAN, BRIDGMON, and GIBSON.

Genealogy has been my passion for over 30 years. Retirement from the teaching profession has afforded me the time to delve more deeply into the histories of these and other families.
