Bio
I was born and raised in Dallastown, York County, PA, grew up, got married and moved to the town right next door, Red Lion, York County, PA, and here I remain. I am the mother of two daughters, both grown, and the grandmother of two very dear and sweet boys, whom I just absolutely adore! I love genealogy and started working on my family tree many years ago. I love this web site.
My Paternal Names are: Snyder, Eberly, Hartman, Glatfelter, Raver, Stabler/Stebler, Ehrhart.
My Maternal Names are: Riedel, Hoffman, Clutter/Klotter, Schreiner, Kauffman/Coffman, Snellbaker, Knaub, Paules/Paulus, Haag.
In addition to this I am also working with my husband's lines. My husband was adopted and I am working with both the family who adopted him, the Shellenbergers and his birth family, the Clintons. Some of the other names in his families are: Stump, Dubbs/Dubs, Wolgamuth, Altland, Bard, King, Ilgenfritz, Berkheimer, Forry, Roth, and on and on.
With my father being a Snyder, and the Adamsville Cemetery, which everyone in it seems to be a direct relation to Adam Snyder, being just down the hill from my home, I feel very lucky. I have been there many times, of course, but I had to work with my family tree for quite awhile before I discovered how all the graves were related. That cemetery always gives me a question that I have to dig to find the answer for. Visiting that little cemetery has helped me tremendously with my family tree.
