Please review the memorial page for Charles. I think all correction have been made.

|JLB||RE: Charles Taylor Fay|
Greetings from Lakewood,Washington. My name is Jack Bennett, I am a member of Steilacoom Lodge No. 2, F.&A.M., and I live less than a mile from the Steilacoom Masonic Cemetery. I have finally arrived at the coveted status of being fully retired from the labor force and now have time to pursue my own interests. Accordingly, for the past year I have been investing a major portion of my time and efforts toward the clean-up and restoral of dignity to the Steilacoom Masonic Cemetery. I am currently updating a directory I have prepared for those wishing to visit the cemetery and, as always, was excited to find a living descendent of individuals buried in the cemetery. Information such as that you have provided in the Bio of Charles Taylor Fay is invaluable to the cause of compiling the history of the cemetery and, I personally, appreciate your remarkable contribution to this historic cemetery. I often spend my days working (volunteer) in the cemetery and usually check on it each day to ensure the vandalism, which has resulted in severe damage to the cemetery in the past, does not start again. Since I don't know your location in relationship to the cemetery, I also don't know how often you can visit the graves of Charles Taylor Fay and Susan G. Fay so I will make the offer to place flowers or a memorial on their graves if you desire. Just order the offering from a florist local to Lakewood, WA. have them call me at 253-273-3516 with a time of delivery at the cemetery and I will meet them at the gate and open it to allow them access to the graves. I will provide you a photo(s) of the offering as soon as it is placed. Currently,this 129 year old cemetery is maintained solely by the benevolence of the Brethren of Steilacoom Lodge No. 2, it has been closed to sales of lots for decades and has no source of income. Should you like to make a contribution to assist with the continuing care and maintenance of this historic cemetery please mail any contributions to:
Steilacoom Lodge No. 2, F.&A.M. of Washington
5405 South Puget Sound Ave.
Tacoma, WA. 98409
ATTN: Steilacoom Masonic Cemetery Fund
Please be sure to include the notation on the check ATTN; Steilacoom Masonic Cemetery Fund as any donations for maintenance of the cemetery is kept separate from those used to support the Lodge, and 100% of all donations are used specifically for the cemetery.
Please feel free to email me at my personal email address or call me personally should I be able to provide further assistance or you have any questions regarding the cemetery.
