I have been researching my family tree since way back in the 1970's, starting out doing it the hard way; lots of legwork. Now the internet has made a lot of it easier.
I have always enjoyed walking through old cemeteries and looking at the old stones. If you'd like a picture of a friend's or relative's grave near me, please let me know and I'll see if I can do it for you. Please let me know as much information as possible, like obvious things like cemetery name, location, etc, but also the plot numbers and other names associated with the person you are interested in.
I love history. Family names I am searching include Wismer, Wagner, Dunlap, Kirby, Lietke, Johnson, Sprout, Herrington, and Sweet among others.
I live just outside of Lake Odessa, Michigan, so I spend a lot of time at Lakeside Cemetery, where there are thousands of graves!
If I fulfill a photo request for you and you want the original pictures, please feel free to ask for them. Generally they are larger and of a higher quality than what is posted on FAG.

Thank you for posting pictures for Eva and Spencer Leigh.
Only the person whop added the photo can delete it, so you will have to ask the photographer.

Thank you very much for posting the picture of baby Robert Helmer. He was my 1st cousin. I had been to the cemetery, in the past, but I ran out of time before I found him. I am intrigued by the husband stone and the star next to him.
Thanks again for your great work.
Alan, just wanted to express my appreciation for the photos at Lakewood Cemetery. To find family markers thousands of miles away is so gratifying.
Your work benefits many of the Find a Grave community. Best wishes.
Thank you for the information on the Housler family. I will have to go and look to see if I knew they were Colorado as I haven't worked on them in some time. Thank you for the heads-up - I sure appreciate it.

I think Elizabeth died in 1878, not 1875.
Alan, I transferred Minnie McClellan to you. Have a great weekend!
