I have been researching my family history for a long time. I have had to restart twice due to a house fire and a personal loss. I enjoy going to the cemeteries and taking photos and appreciate all the volunteers that give of their time to help others here. My grandson, who is now 12, has been going to cemeteries with me since I could carry him in an infant carrier and still loves to go. He is special needs and he actually learned his letters by tracing them on headstones (who says it is a waste of time to poke around old, dead people?). I am researching the Crittenden, Bowman, Fannin, Shaber, Grondin lines and am making good progress. If I can be of any help to you please let me know.
