I was born in Mt. Vernon, Knox, OH. Was adopted
by a good family, Pittmans, that lived in Mt.
Gilead, Morrow, OH. My biological family lived in
Knox Co., OH but moved there from Frankewing, Giles,
TN. My biological mama's name was Frances Immogene
Lovett. She was married twice..once to Robert
"Bobby" Norris and the 2nd time to Vernon Lee
Farmer. I lived in Mt. Gilead, OH until I was 4
years of age. My gma on my adopted side was
Georgia McWilliams-Pittman-Likens. I did not get
to grow up with her and hardly saw her after we
moved to California, in which I reside now.
I only started doing genealogy around 5 years ago.
And have enjoyed it ever since. I have researched
relatives and ancestors on both sides, bio and
adopted and have thru myself and others alot of
info on mostly on my adopted side. And on my
biological side I am researching Phillips, Lovett,
Harwell, Norris, McCoys, anyone related to Giles Co and these
families. But I am not as familiar with this
part of the family being as I was not brought up
with them. On the adopted part of the family I
am researching-Pittman, Barr, Mellott, McWilliams,
Palmer, Likens, Hatfields, Feigley, Truax, Truex,
and families related to them.
I am also researching on my husband's side
is the surname of Bunn and relatives of them.
His family came from IL. Springfield and Olney.
It does keep me busy.
If anyone has anything to offer on
any of the families I would greatly appreciate it.

loving it. Plus I have some relatives that live
here as well in the good state of GA.
