Bio

I started doing genealogy many, many years ago. I became involved because both of my grandmothers were adopted. Most of my research is in the Northeast (Boston, New York and Philly). I have been doing genealogical research for about 30 yrs. Names that I am researching are Bohman, Braun, Baur, Blind, Chevillat, Chieux, Crevoiserat, Duff, Fleury, Fox, Kauffman, Koelbel, Lachat,Luther, Lutz, Macker, Marx, Mewes, Saner, Sanner,Schaefer, Steiner, Sutter, Tschan, Walch, Warre, Weinhart, Horrigan, Kreger, Salzman, Wilensky, Kierstein and Schultz. I am presently a member of APG, NGS, NEHGS, NYG&B, FGS Tampa and the President of the Florida Genealogical Society, Tampa. I have submitted cemetery records for Garden of Memories* in Tampa. These are from published books that FGS-Tampa, compiled in 1985. I have submitted vol. 3. I have taken over additional entries from these volumes, due to the death of Noreta Wells(#84883785).I have now finished submitting Lake Lindsay Cemetery which is in Hernando County, Florida. I have also photographed all headstones in the Fort Taylor and McGeachy Cemeteries in Hernando County.Additionally, I have submitted Spring Hill Cemetery in Hernando County. My sister, Julie, and I walked stone to stone copying the info and photographing the stones. This cemetery is being destroyed by local teenagers who use it as a hangout. We are now also working on what is left of the old confederate cemetery, in the same area. Please contact me if you have any additional info, photos or corrections for any entry I have made and I will be happy to add them to the memorial. If you request a transfer please tell me how you are related -please use edit button on memorial and make sure you give your contributor number! Thank you.I USE Find A Grave GUIDELINES IN RELINQUISHING MEMORIALS.Thank you for your understanding.EDITS: Please use edit button only. Thank You.NOTE: DS means double stone, TS means triple stone.*NOTE: Photos can be done at Garden of Memories, but PLEASE contact cemetery: (813) 626-3161 and request grave location. They will only give location to FAMILY member. UPDATE:(Oct 2012) It has been brought to my attention that Garden of Memories/Myrtle Hill are now telling family members that their families are not buried in the cemeteries in order not to give grave locations.
