Member of Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. (CSG), Concord Historical Society (VT), and Lyndon Historical Society (VT). Born in Mass., Connecticut resident and married since 1972 with 2 sons (who are now 21 & 22 years old as of 2016). I've been avidly researching since Jan. 1989, working on my maternal and paternal lines, as well as my husband's maternal and paternal lines. Discovering burial places of our relatives & friends had always been difficult - until this wonderful website was created. Countless volunteers are quickly adding information & photos, which immensely increases our chances of finding them.
RE: Union Cem., Vermontville Hang on Donna, there lots more coming your way in a few minutes. I have to thaw my hands and get my body temperature back to normal. It's cold out there in Union Cemetery. It was 6 degrees last night! Is my calendar wrong? Is it really April?
I accepted your edit on her last name, but have reconsidered it. The naming conventions specify that only one name is permitted on the memorial unless it is hyphenated on the headstone. Multiple marriages are reflected in the bio section or the family links. I changed her last name back to Pyles because that is what is on her headstone.
RE: Pleasant View Cem., Ludlow You're very welcome. I almost took pictures of Ruby and Charles's markers. They were on the same lot. I'll get them for you when weather permits. They were our neighbors just down the road when I was growing up. Jim
RE: Mountain View Cemetery, Claremont I tried that bulk uploading beta thing...it does not take off the requests, so...I am going on and removing them one by one. It works fantastic when you have a large number of photos to add, but not so well when most of them are requests. I sent Find A Grave a line, so hopefully they will figure out how to make that work in the future.
RE: Antioch Baptist Cem. I thought that Molentha was a very interesting name. Didn't know if I would be able to find the headstone...as it is old. Turned out that it was weathered, but I was able to get a decent picture of her name.
RE: Holy Cross Cemetery My apologies. I have not been checking my Find a Grave page for the last two months and did not see your message. I am glad you added the picture for James P Kelly. Good luck with your research.
