I am the daughter of Oda Agee Harmon & Beulah May White, & married to Charlie Benjamin Burris. He is the son of John Spurgon Burris & Lillie Isabelle Seiber. We have one son Shane.

I’ve published numerous RESEARCH BOOKS in & around the area of Anderson Co, TN & donated them to area libraries, Tennessee State Library and Archives, Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection, LDS-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was very specific they were research books & gave numerous warnings on different people & families. I spent thousands of dollars & 35 years in my research.

I gave WARNINGS: That no assertion was made to the accuracy of the information listed; rather it was intended as a collection of information. I requested references and information I had presented to be independently verified. Clearly I didn’t have all the information I needed to establish some of these families & requested researchers not to rely on my transcription, & conclusions, as further research was needed.

The information I set forth to be used as a guideline has been thrown out on the internet directly from the books w/o any independent research other than maybe to add their own family members. It has been run through as if they had done the research, mostly w/o any clarification of where they acquired the information.

With human reasoning being what it is, I’ve often wondered why people are so greedy to present a family they will just go out & rape information from others w/o any recognition as to their many years of research.

In many instances I had information stated incorrectly & so do the many that have just grabbed it from the books & thrown it on the internet, (by others.)
