My maiden name was Jeanette Marcus. I am the great-granddaughter of William Cubbins. I am a descendant of his daughter Maud Cubbins Marcus.
Maud was his daughter by his first wife, Elizabeth Harris. William and Elizabeth had two children, Maud and Charley before Elizabeth died in 1890. They do not show up in his 1900 census because they were living in Missouri with William's parents, Francis Marion and Nancy Jane O'Conner Cubbins.
