Jon lives in Kirkland, WA with his wife Deanna. His mother was Edna Louise Chenoweth, born to Harry Edward Chenoweth and Minnie Jane Holt. Harry had come out to the Seattle area from Pineville, MO about 1912. This in the line of the 3rd generation Thomas, son of John. Jon has been doing Chenoweth genealogy and hosting the Chenoweth website since 1996. He has attended all 7 national reunions (thru 2012) and made presentations at each of them. He graduated in 1966 from the University of Washington|
I would be more than glad to manage any Chenoweth memorial since I basically know who all these people were. This fall (2012) I manage over 1,300 Chenoweth pages out of 4,700 plus memorials created so far. I have also identified nearly 900 married daughters. Though 90% of the family uses this spelling "Chenoweth", there are other variants like Chenowith, Chinouth, Chenowth, Chinowth, Chinworth, Chenworth, Chineworth as well as variants of Chennyworth and Channyworth. Chynoweth and Chinneth are not part of the family of John Chenoweth and Mary Calvert, who comprise over 90% of the present population of US Chenoweths. For more info please visit the Chenoweth website I created.
The pix is probably what I look like after a hard day of genealogy, a bit frazzled!

I found in Golden Cemetery buried near Josephine
a J C Chenoweth along with an infant J C. buried Nov 29, 1911.
Hope it helps. Let me know.

I have had no luck finding Josephine Ethelyn's parents. I found her marriage certificate for her first marriage to Evan H. Heiselt on familysearch. It gives her name as Chanowith, Ethelyn/Williams. I also found her marriage certificate to her second husband Leon E. Perkins on Ancestry. Her name is listed as Josephine Ethelyn Heisel. I found her third husband on the 1940 U.S. Federal Census. I will keep looking and let you know if I find anything. Please let me know if you find anything or if I can help you in the future.
Josephine was my Grandfather's first cousin.
Have a great day.

Thanks for all of the information about Ida. I really appreciate it. You have certainly been doing your homework! It's good to have some information about her, and be able to put her into her own family. I don't have a lot of information about her daughter, Bessie, but you are certainly welcome to anything I have, if you'd like it. Just let me know.

I hope you are doing well.
I received your edit for Ida, which I am about to approve, but I wanted to send you this note first, so that I didn't lose your name in the mess that is my approved edits list.
Thank you so very much! For a long time, the Wilson family, of which Ida's husband, Hugh Chapman, is a member, had not known that Hugh was married and that Bessie Chapman was actually his daughter, rather than his brother's. His brother adopted Bessie after Ida died. It was wonderful to get your edit and be able to put Ida back into her family.
I am assuming that Ida is the Ida Ann who you said was not yet linked. Based on that assumption, I've changed her middle initial of A to Ann. If that isn't correct, please let me know.
Again, thank you.

|Anastasia Walker||Violet Annabel Blackburn Nestleroad Chenoweth|
You manage the memorial for Violet A. Blackburn Chenoweth born February 2 1920, died November 30 1996. Buried in Huntington, IN at Gardens of Memory. I noticed on your website she is listed as an unknown Chenoweth. I am her great granddaughter and would love to share information about her.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

FYI - posted a picture of his tombstone today. Also corrected his burial plot location which was incorrect.
|Tami||Ann McCool Chenoweth|
Hey Cousin John-
Do you know the burial place for Ann? She was still living after 1855 and was in Clinton Co. OH in 1850 with her sister.
I would like to find her final resting place :)
Lot's to catch up on- I will check out your site for any new info.
