Jon lives in Kirkland, WA with his wife Deanna. His mother was Edna Louise Chenoweth, born to Harry Edward Chenoweth and Minnie Jane Holt. Harry had come out to the Seattle area from Pineville, MO about 1912. This in the line of the 3rd generation Thomas, son of John. Jon has been doing Chenoweth genealogy and hosting the Chenoweth website since 1996. He has attended all 7 national reunions (thru 2012) and made presentations at each of them. He graduated in 1966 from the University of Washington|
I would be more than glad to manage any Chenoweth memorial since I basically know who all these people were. This fall (2012) I manage over 1,300 Chenoweth pages out of 4,700 plus memorials created so far. I have also identified nearly 900 married daughters. Though 90% of the family uses this spelling "Chenoweth", there are other variants like Chenowith, Chinouth, Chenowth, Chinowth, Chinworth, Chenworth, Chineworth as well as variants of Chennyworth and Channyworth. Chynoweth and Chinneth are not part of the family of John Chenoweth and Mary Calvert, who comprise over 90% of the present population of US Chenoweths. For more info please visit the Chenoweth website I created.
The pix is probably what I look like after a hard day of genealogy, a bit frazzled!

There is some confusion about Gertrude's father being George Wilson or Francis marion wilson?, and according to my dad, his dad went to visit his aunt Gertrude in Ohio somewhere close to Lake Erie. Do you kow if they happened to have lived in Ohio (Chester and Gertrude Wilson).
Hi - I obtained a copy of the 1938 U of Nebraska yearbook from a relative and came across a photo that I posted of WILBUR CHENOWETH and wanted to let you know. The photo is from the facility and staff section. I hope it is a valued addition to your family history.

I found John Thomas Ellis on Find A Grave #107233559
|Laura Hix Ellis||RE: Susan L. Chinowth|
Good Morning Jon,
Unfortunately, I do not have much information on JT Ellis. I am just this minute going through some documents that belonged to JT's son Fred Perry Ellis. This may give me more info to feed into searches.
If I find them I will let you know.

Hi Jon -
It's been a while since we communicated. Happy New Year!
I'd like to get you to make an addition to Thomas H. Chenoweth's page on Find A Grave. My maternal grandmother was Thomas's second child. Her name was Cecil Leadona Lavita Chenoweth Shelby. She was born in Arrington Springs, Kansas on 9 Nov 1898 and died in McAllen, Tx on 19 June 1989. She married Carl Hamilton Shelby in 1921 and their only child was my mother, Carolyn Francis Shelby Temple, born in 1926.
I appreciate all you've accomplished with the Chenoweth line.

I am trying to figure out why it says Gertrude was George's daughter. When she is apparently my great grandmother's sister (Elizabeth Wilson), who's father is Francis Marion Wilson. Are there any photos of Gertrude?
I would like to manage my father and grandpa and grandmas memorials my father Floyd Goodson 9276231 and Grandparents Charles and Hazel (Veal) Goodson 9275023 and 9275026 please consider transferring me their memorials Thank you for your time
