Just learned that there is a two page document at DAR headquarters signed by grandson of Philip Nelson and Elizabeth Reagan Meroney that names Margaret White Meroney and her spouse James McCoy. Haven't seen the actual document but have ordered copy. Will share with you when I receive it.

I see that you are maintaining the memorial for Margaret White Meroney McCoy although you were not the original creator. You list her father as Philip Meroney. I am helping a friend with an application for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution and am looking for documentation that proves Philip was Margaret's father. What was your source of this info or did it come from the original creator? I see on Philip's site that he was quite the lady's man and apparently one of his sons followed in his footsteps. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

I have never been able to find any records of Millard other than the headstone. I think he is the son of John A & Hesentine Davis. And my reason for think that he is there son is on the headstone picture he is between the two. And the other two on headstone is there Willie ( is John A & Hesentine Davis son also) and his wife Mary. I have worked on this family two or three times and still can not find birth or death for Millard.
