I am 54 years old and have been doing family history for about 11 years now. I have found out so much about my ancestors that I feel like I know some of them. It is an unreal feeling! I only regret that I didn't start doing this when my parents were alive! They would have been amazed at the relatives we have and never knew it! My advice to everyone: Ask questions now. If you don't it may never be known! Look up your history! You may find things that you never knew! Just remember, if you don't find it out today, it may be lost forever tomorrow!!! Some families know so little about teir history because they don't ask and no one offers. Believe me it is hard when nothing is known to get you started! Our family names are: Holliday/Holaday/Holladay/Holiday, Lowery, Wardlow, Bryant, Moore, Abner, Henry, Bizzell, Latham, Nettles, and West. On my husbands side are the names of; Bienvenu, Danahay, Crawford, Funk, Labbe', Barras, Broussard, Stiner and krohe. I would love to hear from any one who may be related. I have a lot of info on most names and would welcome any info anyone may want to share. I try to post people photos and grave photos when I have them for each of my pages. You are welcome to copy any of them.
RE: Holladay Hi Anita. Edit was processed so thank you. I was following up on some findagrave entries I had made and I believe it was Charlie Holladay. Been a while now. Thanks for your attention on this and for your work in Findagrave. Kerry
Samuel Henry, #17589749 Hi...I am researching the Henry family and saw the photo that you posted on his listing. Do you happen to know who any of the other people are in the picture? Is that his mother, in front of him?
Burrough Hello, I am from the burrough, Guy Carlton Burroughs. My grandmother was Guy's sister, Ida Burrough Smith. I saw your page for Guy. Just want to tell you that I made him a page in 2002 # 6422238.
Re:Bizzell's Anita, I agree with your BIO! I wanted you to know that I constructed a public family tree on Ancestry, THE Bizzell Family Tree. It documents almost all Bizzell's before 1940, - 2000 of them linked to many families, 11,000 people total. Mike
