Do you remember the name at the bottom of photo? You might try James Stovall, I know he has taken several there. Added by Darrell Wesley on Mar 03, 2016 11:48 AM
No, unfortunately I don't remember the name under the picture. It's ok. I have one somewhere. I think you misunderstood me here. I've only been a member here for 5 days. I just discovered this wonderful website. I'm not sure how things work yet. I never accused anyone of deleting anything. Thanks again for the transfer! Very Respectfully, Dane

Dr John W Smith Thinks for your reply I don't have his death certificate but I do have application for headstone It gives his death as Oct. 14 th 1926 His enlistment for the Civil War into 29 th mo. Infuritry Co. G. In 1862 Age 20 . This may not be the same John Wesley Smith. What is the death date on his death certificate.
Dr John W Smith John Wesley Smith is my grandfather I have been looking for his grave for a long time. About a month ago a friend found an Application for Headstone it gave me his location at Puxico Mo. That stone is the same one you pasted. Every thing on the stone matches what I know his civil war record. I do not know about the Dr. part. could you tell me if and how the Dr. came about.
