Mary E. Hanlon/Handlon Mead
Wondering if you are related to this family. I assure there is no "d" in our name. Her father is the older brother of my husband's great-grandfather, Felix Hanlon. Strange enough, Felix's son, Norman, married Bertha Rose Haught so my husband's paternal grandparents are named Hanlon and Haught and I did extensive research on them and published my findings back in 1995.

I am now researching the Joy family of Monroe and Washington Counties, OH and by coincidence, Mary Anne Joy married Rufus Hanlon and so there is a connection to my husband's mother's Joy family also.

Mary E. Hanlon Mead's parents are Rufus Hanlon and Mary Anne Joy for sure. They lived in Ohio, but Rufus died in a Confederate Prison in Tyler, TX on 19 Oct 1864 leaving Mary Anne with seven children ages 3 - 13. She remained in Ohio, but I can't find where Rufus is buried.

I thought Mary E and Samuel Mead were buried in Ohio, but after reading your info, I am still looking and if I find anything certain, will let you know.

Eunice Koon
If you will send me your email address I can give you the phone number of a cousin who has done extensive work on the family tree. As for the connection with Charles to Eunice as spouse I think that was done automatically by the findagrave site. She was never married. My email is poneetail@yaho0.com. Janice has been researching the family for several years and has a lot of info that should be of help to you. Darlene

Walter Glen Salisbury Memorial
Noticed that you lacked the maiden names for Walter's wives' mothers.

Beulah Elizabeth Huber was the daughter of Sidney Huber and Della Gay Nutter.

Naomi Grace Rice was the daughter of Frank B. Rice and Martha Jane Cogar.

Hope this helps.

Khun/Hall Marriage
I belive the reason Marjorie and Argie didn't get married until 1968 is because he wasn't divorced from his wife Jessie Lewis until oct, 14, 1968 in Caldwell, North Carolina.

I'm thinking you may have put in an edit request around the same time I made the link myself. Am I wrong?

Thank you for the addt'l info. Just yesterday, I had found the obituaries for several of the Eastern Cemetery Moores, including Dorothy! You mentioned you were hoping to find more info on an ancestor who was married 8 times - my biological father was married at least 7 times (out of 3 women, my mother was the only one he hadn't remarried).

Maria Koontz - Mound Cemetery
You submitted a photo request for Maria Koontz in Mound Cemetery, Marietta, OH. There is no marker for her. However, there are other Koontz family members buried in her plot. In Owen Hawley's book on Mound Cemetery he writes: "Wife of Phillip, mother of Mrs. D. W. Dye." Other Koontz names on this stone are Phillip, Charles, Henry, and two children.

Joseph Kelbauch
Today we drove to Mount Tabor Cemetery and found the monument for Joseph Kelbauch. If you are still needing photos of this email me at poneetail@yahoo.com and I will send them to you. You can then post the one you prefer. If you still need a photo of the marker for Rosemary Kuhn I will try to find it. I grew up in Dalzell and know the cemetery fairly well. I am related to the Koons through my Grandma Walters' side. Her mother was Elizabeth Katherine Koon Phelps(Memorial# 19208444).

Lemuel Edgington was my 2x grandfather also!
A. L. Schmidt:
Lemuel Washington Edgington was my great-grandfather also! My grandmother, Dorothy Lucille (Edgington) Stone, was the daughter of Lemuel Washington and Edith May (Bresby) Edgington. I was named after grandmother, Dorothy Jane. My mother was Arlene Lou (Stone) Shipley. My Ancestry family tree is under "Dorothy Jane Shipley" if you are interested in visiting. I would like to touch base with you via email. My address is: onlined4us@yahoo.com.

My married name is Dorothy Bellcour. My husband and I live in TN. I turned 60 this year and would love to connect with other relatives. Look forward to hearing from you. You can also leave me a message at my Ancestry email/message. I check it about once each week as I add family as I research.

Gratefully,
Dorothy Bellcour
