I was raised in Perryville, Missouri and graduated from St, Vincent High School in 1961.|
My genealogical interest is Perry County, Missouri residents in general. No specific family. I have photos of about 75% of the tombstones in Perry County and that is a project that is currently a work in progress. I am posting them to Find A Grave as time allows but have just started doing this in earnest in April 2009.
I have high resolution photos of all of the graves I have posted and will be happy to share.

|Theresa ( Rogers ) Griffiths||Bessie's page that needs headstone|
135721169 This is the page that needs Bessie's headstone picture back on it.
Thank You Henry!

Tonight I noticed there was two pages for Bessie and the one you had just turned over to me. Since the other one had more info on it I did the edit to delete the other page for her that you had turned over to me. But after I did that I noticed the headstone picture you did was on the page I had requested to delete. When you have time would you please add her headstone back on her page?
Thank You so much,
|Theresa ( Rogers ) Griffiths||Bessie M. Barber Robertson|
Bessie M. Barber Robertson 36524729 is my lineage would you please turn her page over to me? She was married 3 times and the page above is a headstone with her 2nd husband and hers name on it!
She died in Ca. and I have her death certificate
and she is also buried out there.
I need to make notes on her page about what I just told you about her husbands, children and where she is buried at.

Per my immediately previous message, in my message subject I incorrectly spelled Viola Heberlie's maiden name which is Welty, but I didn't misspell it when I submitted the edit. Too bad there isn't a way to edit one's public messages, so I could have corrected it there.

Based on this recent obituary, I have already used the edit button to submit several edits for Viola. Just wanted you to know where I got the info: http://www.baslerfuneralhome.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1389653
|Audrey DeCamp Hoffman||Hi Henry,|
I should have let you know about the edits sooner. I realized that the edits had to be building up, and I know that you must feel stressed. You have done a wonderful job photographing the cemeteries.
My mother-in-law was from Perryville and she used to tell me about all the people she new when she was young. She took the Perryville paper and would keep up on all of her friends. When I began to do genealogy, I started with her family. It has been a joy to get farther aquainted with her friends, and friends ancestors. The history of the area has always fascinated me.
I like to add what I find to the memorials for the future generation, before it gets lost.
I have hours of leisure hours to fill, and Find a Grave has helped me from getting bored.
Thanks again for your help on your end of the globe.

These edits are a fairly new change for Find a Grave. They show up at the top of your contributors page.
Find a grave made this change. It seems like a lot of contributors did not get the message. I learned about it in the same way you have.....Audrey
