I was raised in Perryville, Missouri and graduated from St, Vincent High School in 1961.|
My genealogical interest is Perry County, Missouri residents in general. No specific family. I have photos of about 75% of the tombstones in Perry County and that is a project that is currently a work in progress. I am posting them to Find A Grave as time allows but have just started doing this in earnest in April 2009.
I have high resolution photos of all of the graves I have posted and will be happy to share.
Look out for me on Yahoo Instant Messenger. hweiss02. I am eager to chat.

You left a comment on this memorial that the date appeared by its self. I read or it was sent to me not sure which, but Find A Grave was going to automatically post updates to memorials after 10 days if not acted on by the person who created the memorial. This is paraphrased but it is basically what it said.

Dear Henry, Have found a note in my Mother's papers. She and my Dad attended 50th anniversary of Louise and Fred.
The note: "Sept. 1927, Sept. 1977, 50th anniversary party, Altenberg Lutheran Trinity Church Hall, Altenberg MO"
My parents are on Find A Grave: Wilma Theiss Kimmel and Ira Leon Kimmel.

|Ruth Smith||Cashion family in Mo.|
I am looking for some added information to two memorial pages I created at FAirmount Cemetery here in Cape Girardeau, Mo.:
Elizabeth Cashion - we do not have her date of birth but she died Feb. 7, 1906
Mary Cashion B. 1858 and died December 10, 1898.
I am wondering if Elizabeth was the daughter of Elizabeth Cashion 1833-1903. buried in Perry County?
I cannot find much to help on ancestry.com and wondered if you could add any of the dates, etc? Thanks - this is a "self appointed" task that I am doing to help others find their family and I love researching. Ruth
