I live in Stillwater, OK.
I love doing research on Payne County, Oklahoma and surrounding counties.
Please check out the webpage that the managers of Fairlawn Cemetery have created:
Due to the death of DonZas, I am managing the memorials in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater that he posted. I will be keeping all of the memorials that are in my family tree. And, believe me, there are alot of them.
However, if you wish for me to transfer a memorial to you, send EACH request through the "EDIT" - "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" Link on EACH person's memorial. Please allow time, because I get alot of requests each day.
REMEMBER the Find-A-Grave RULE states:
Transfer requests should be for DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, nephews, mother's brother's first cousins, well, these don't count as a direct relative. And, yes, this part is included in the rules.
E-mail me if you have a question or if you have a request that I haven't already uploaded.
I have 2 books called "Cimarron Family Legends" vol 1 and 2. These books contain information that has been compiled by families that settled all around Stillwater and the surrounding towns of the Cimarron River in Payne County. I can look up information on families if you will send me the family name and any other information that I can use. Just e-mail me with the request.
Also, I have photographed and transcribed Ripley Oak Park Cemetery and Mt. Hope Cemetery near Ripley, OK. I don't transfer these memorials, but I will add the information and links if you ask me.

|Frank Post||RE: Anna Nash|
I believe her name to be Christianna Ann Coffer Nash but I'm really not sure. My family tree is one of those you probably saw in Ancestor.com. Her daughter's (my grandmother, Effie Mae Nash Herring) death certificate listed her as Ann Coffer but one U.S. census (1910) list her name as Christa, another one (1930)as Christina and her husband's WWI draft registration listed her as Christia. Her Texas marriage record listed her as Anna, just like her tombstone.
I've been trying to obtain her death certificate but I'm having a lot of trouble getting it from Oklahoma, even though I can show my family relationship to her through birth and death certificates.
Just wondering if you might have any information at all since I saw you managed her memorial.
Thanks you for responding.

I see you maintain the memorial for Christianna "Anna" Coffer Nash (Find A Grave Memorial #11931415).
She was my great grandmother on my mother's side. I'm trying to verify her parents were George W. Coffer and Tennessee Smith Coffer. Any information you might have on her parents or any of her ancestors at all would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

You created a page for Rosali Cecelia Olson Caldwell (Sep. 17, 1896 - Nov., 1980) at the Fort Sill National Cemetery.
Rosali is buried in the Fort Sill Post Cemetery.
I have a photo of your grave that another person wants added.
Please delete your entry at the National Cemetery and add to the Post Cemetery.

Hi, I'm Steven Dunn. I am the site manager for my 3rd great grandparents, Martin and Emily Acton-Dunn. I was wondering if you would mind linking Elizabeth to her parents. Emily's findagrave # is 6546000 and Martin's is 2982430. Thank you so much.

Did Not know about change. Hope this sight remains free and not subscription. Is there a list of which ones need re-photographed? If not can we just go thru FindaGrave and check that way and save time.

There have been numerous request for photos lately that show on memorial that a photo should be there but it is not. What is happening. I take photo and post it. What happened to the one supposed to be there.
