Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy isn't really researching the dead but researching who set the roots for who you are today.

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time,
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.

Lord, help me trace the ancient roads
On which my father's trod,
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.

Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript,
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.

Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find,
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.

Added vs Managed
Ive had others transfer memorials to me to manage as they wished to do it, not because I asked. Now that I have them, I am happy to manage them as most are related somehow.

A Bit About Me
I have enjoyed genealogy since 2000. Like to add any cousins to my tree. Like to help people and take pictures of all stones in any cemetery. A lot of the time I am not related to the person's stones that I post but if in Nelson, Washington, Casey or Marion Counties of KY - my children are probably realted.

We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.

PLEASE do not post a message below about linking, additions or transfers about a memorial I manage. Click the Edit tab on the memorial that you wish me to edit. Thank you :)

Casey/Richey Family
Barber & Casey Springfield Kentucky
My name is Marc Casey I am working on my family tree. According to the records that I have found I am related to a John R Barber that lived in Springfield Kentucky. My great great grandmother was Addie barber and they had a daughter named Mary (Polly) Barber. It is getting hard find anything beyond the 1880 census.

Is there any way you could get me more information about John Barber and the family history in the town? I am using but feel like I have hit some road blocks.
I am also related to the Casey's and Charlton's in the Springfield & Louisville Kentucky and Tennessee.

If you can help I would greatly appreciate it.

I need to wait until the heat-humidity subsides in Southern IL. to take your photo requests. Will be glad to take those for you.

Frances Wells Lipscomb
Thanks for pointing out the error that I had made in the spelling of Lipscomb. I am sorry that I did not do it earlier. I used to get an e-mail about changes requested, but this time I just happened to go to my page and see it there.

the war and what struggel he had to survive the war.

Thanks for helping in advance,

RE: McChord
Note that the dates on the tombstone are different from the dates you had on your memorial. That has caused someone else to create a duplicate memorial. I live about about 20 miles from Ryder but am there a lot because I have relatives buried there. Glad to help.

I beilieve you are correct that this is a duplicate memorial. Looks like Mona hit the wrong key in the year as she has 1937 in the body of the memorial. I cannot delete this since I inherited it, but will contact the admin. to see about moving the data over to the other and deleting this one. Thanks
