A heartfelt thank you to everyone that has fulfilled a photo request, responded to a transfer request (when possible)and has added additional information to the memorial pages. Your help is invaluable to those of us who may be unable to visit their final resting places.|
My desire is that this information will enrich the lives of my children, family and unknown relatives in ways that they may be unaware of, yet.
Due to disability, a large majority of the memorials added and/or managed are family. In my pursuit of family research, when I run across additional information, I do add when and where I can. At times, it may take a bit to get everything updated.
I have added a few deaths with "unknown" burial places hoping someone in that area has the knowledge that can help fill in the blanks, as was done with Emma Lee [Davison] Ledford, my gg-grandmother - tombstone inscribed with "Emmer".
Findagrave is assuredly a place to add memorials, but it has also grown and exploded into something so much more over the years. It is a special place for those who would like the chance to remember and honor those who have passed before us.
With sincerest regards,
When we die we become 'stories' in the minds of other people.

It was fall nine years ago, but pretty sure this was the small (seemingly "abandoned" church). Leaves covered so very much so I turned to the internet for more info ... http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/jasper/cemeteries/concord.txt .... I see there is a photo loaded, but the grass appears to be well maintained (different from my visit). Perhaps the "submitter" of that photo can remember more.

I understand you keeping Uncle Perry. I grew up across the road from Sister and Uncle Perry. He was quite a character. He had many a tall tale to tell. My brother took care of him, after Sister passed away, until his death. They were both very good people. I have several pictures of them and will share if you would like. Have a blessed day. Nancy

Thank you for transferring Veo Pullin to me. I now have to locate one sibling and I'll have the eleven connected to their parents. Thank you again for your dedication to a great site. Nancy

I am so excited to see a family member on this site.
I just learned about it. I have been getting info for the past week working night and day.
Tamer's (last child) daughter just passed away last night.
We called her Aunt Neaver (real name Nivie< according to records... or Geneava according to family).
Here is the Obituary for her.

Transfer has been made. Have a great day,
|Ronald Colaprete||Sidney Oursler|
Sidney is indeed buried in Westview Cemetery. I viewed the cemetery's books and located where he is interred. The only problem is, there is no marker there for him-only the space where he is. I have a picture of the space if you want me to post it. Just let me know. Thanks...Ron C.
