I have been doing genealogy since 1990; but seriously since early 2006. I travel in my motorhome and go to where my ancestors lived. In 2010, I spent 8 weeks in Oklahoma & Kansas; where my Helmans, Harmans, Hougardys and Gerwerts lived. In 2012, I spent several weeks in Ohio & Pennsylvania researching my Helman ancestors. Am interested in communicating with any descendants of these families; also Webb, Graham, Hendricks families. In 2014, I spent 2-1/2 months in the Seattle area--mostly researching Hougardy & Harman aka Smith. In 2016, I was gone 4-1/2 months, 2 months of that in SW Virginia & NW North Carolina, researching Harman & Fuller--and could have stayed longer!
