I was born and raised in Kokomo, IN. I currently live in Bucyrus, OH. I have lived in FL, IN, IL, OH, OK, TX, and VA. I have always enjoyed hearing stories about my ancestors. About 20 years ago I started searching for more information. I have become the Starner expert in Crawford County OH. Starner was my husband's grandmothers family. I am actively researching Starner, Trout, Smith, Puterbaugh, Hann and Rush.
I will transfer any unrelated persons to family members. You may use my photos (please give me credit) on your personal trees and on

Widman Photo Requests
Thank you so much for the wonderful photo of Alexander Widman's stone. I guess Oakwood cemetery records indicate that Rowena Widman may be buried there also. I do not know for sure. Before she died in 1905 her last known residence was in Omaha Nebraska. When her husband died in 1860 there may have been a burial place reserved for her there at Oakwood. Her youngest son is buried in Lincoln Nebraska and in the Nebraska Widman plot is an unknown burial which may very well be her! Thanks for taking the time to try and find a stone for her. Three of her children are buried there at Oakwood. Her oldest son is buried in Denver Colorado. Alexander and Rowena Widman are my husband's great-great grandparents.

Again many thanks for the wonderful photo and your diligence in trying to find Rowena!

re: Edith sheckler moes
Thanks for adding the picture for Edith Sheckler Moes. I had looked for it and the cemetery said she wasn't there, but I didn't know about the other husband with the Moes surname. donna white

Greenlawn Memorial will not tell me where someone is buried. I have walked the entire cemetery several times and have not found them. If you could call them and get their location, I will be more than happy to get a photo. They may not have a tombstone. Their number is 260-432-3914. Thank you. Barb
