Hi, I'm a San Diego County native. I enjoy both genealogy and photography. I really like this site. It helps with my genealogy and I also like to help others by fulfilling their photo requests.|
Photos Posted & Requests Fulfilled:
Any photos I posted may be used by individuals for personal, private, noncommercial, not for profit use only. Any other use, please ask – they are copyrighted. If you do use my photo, please credit me as the photographer and retain the copyright notice on it.
If you have corrections or additions to any of the memorials I have posted, please don't hesitate to contact me via the Edit tab at the top right of the memorial. If you are related to any of them, I will gladly transfer "ownership" to you.
Surnames I am researching are:
- Meserole, Maryott, Thomas, Deubler
- Ely, Lyman, Lathrop
- Valentine, Smith, Blyth, Blithe
Most of my relatives are from:
- Springville, Susquehanna, PA
- Brooklyn, Kings County, NY
- Camden, NJ
If it is a correction for a memorial I created, please use the Edit tab at the top right of that memorial to suggest a correction. Otherwise please leave Public Message below or send PM to SurrealImage on the forums. Do not use the Edit tab from one of my memorials to leave me a message about something unrelated to that memorial - doing so will cause it to be ignored.
Remember folks - please do not add Phony cemeteries like "Unknown". There is a proper way to add unknown burials. Adding phony cemeteries is not only against the rules, but it clutters and confuses the system for others. See Findagraves FAQs for more information.

Thank YOU for the nice Thank you! When I get a photo request I usually try to locate any others with the same last name and include them too. Glad to hear that it helped you. Thank you for confirming the relationship of the two Alexander Stewart's ... I made the link connections. Not worried about photo credits and in fact if you are related and would like any memorials that I made transferred to you, I would be glad to. Nice to hear my efforts are appreciated.

Hello D. Meserole,
Thank you for your kind words and you are most welcome for the Lisk photos. If you are ever out this way and wanting to find that stone, it is in the very back row of the cemetery in the last row of graves before stepping into the woods. (hence the lush foliage seen around the stone)

Sorry about the double post! My computer went crazy when I tried to correct the spelling of Gideon's name. Thank you for sponsoring Gideon's memorial. If he is a relative of yours I will gladly transfer it to you!
Thank you for the updates and photos!
|Jon H.||Millers in Mount Hope|
I just discovered that you took pictures (and created memorials) for my cousin Bernhardt Miller and his wife Katherina in Mount Hope Cemetery! I have been trying to find them (wasn't even sure when they died) for several years now, so I was quite excited to find them!
I was able to discover these memorials purely by accident through your memorial of Earnest Causton (Bernhardt's son-in-law) - memorial# 115210767. The photo of Earnest (and his wife Jessie) Causton's headstones showed Bernhardt and Katherina Miller's stone just to the left.
Thank you so much for the research and work that you have done!

|Linda Claxton||Regarding your message|
"There are duplicate memorials I am reporting to both contributors with identical messages. The confusion over the headstone is probably the cause of the duplication. In 2005 contributor J. Steele (#46806468) added a memorial for Belinda Becker, Memorial# 12818012, with the following "Note: McMaster is inscribed on the botton of the headstone". In 2013 contributor Linda Claxton (#47281994) added a memorial for Belinda Becker McMaster, Memorial# 113854458. I recently contacted the cemetery office. They gave me a map which shows that Belinda B MacMaster is buried at location Div 6,, Block_Row 3, Lot 34, Grave 2 (location of the headstone shown on both memorials).
BTW cemetery records show a DOD of 03/08/1920.
I will let the two contributors work on resolving this for a month. If the duplication is not resolved in a month I will turn this over to Findagrave."
There is no confusion over the headstone photo. The problem is the first memorial has the last name of Becker while the second memorial has the correct name of McMaster. Happy to delete once the other memorial is updated.
Thanks for all you do =]

Good catch! Thank You.
In my defence, I have noted that many of the pre-purchased grave sites, in which the Spouse has passed first, perhaps many years earlier, have included un-finished, incomplete inscriptions on the remaining Spouse's portion of the Headstone.
My Warmest Regards,

Noticed that Henry J. Burton's memorial, # 29349945, has 2 identical photos of military documents posted by you. That is probably a result of duplicate memorials being merged. Probably would be a good idea to delete one of these.
