Bio

Hi!

I'm glad I joined Find a Grave. Although it's sad to read about all the relatives, friends, and animals that have passed on, it's also quite beautiful to see how deeply members care about each other, and the amount of support they give.
I have lost family members, friends, and animals that I adored, so I can empathize with everyone.

I live with my precious little schnauzer girl, Isabella, and my darling little schnauzer boy, Travis. The three of us are so close.

I adopted Isabella when she was 5 years old from a rescue group, and I urge anyone who wants an animal to adopt an older animal from a rescue group or humane society. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats in need of forever homes. Older animals seem to bond even more solidly with their adoptive pet parents, and continually seem so appreciative for having been given a home.

I think we can all really help each other by being supportive of those who have lost loved ones, be they animals or people. I use my time on Find a Grave to try to be there for those who are grieving pet parents. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a beloved animal.

My wish for all of you who have lost a loved one, is that time heals your pain, and replaces it with lovely memories of the loved ones you lost.

God bless you all.

I wrote the above bio almost 9 years ago, when I was a member of a "Flower Group" here. Flower Groups would offer support to those grieving over the loss of their beloved animals.

A lot has changed since then, but I've decided to leave the old bio up, while adding to it, so I can remember where I was at then.

In 2012, we added a new family member - Izzy, who's Isabella's birth daughter, and was adopted when she was 6 years old. She's a delightful little girl.

On April 30, 2015, I lost my precious Isabella to cancer. I put up a memorial page for her on here, which I hope everyone will visit.

So, now it's just Travis, Izzy, and I, although we know Angel Isabella is never far away.
