RE: Cedarville Cem
Mr. Marks,

I'll call the cemetery trustee tomorrow afternoon. Thomas is supposedly buried there with a field stone. His son Evan is also buried with a field stone that was carved with his name and date of death. Evan's grave is on the right hand side of the cemetery behind the Richardson's row near the front.

I've documented all the known individuals buried in the Marks Cemetery on findagrave. There aren't very many people with marked headstones buried there, they were mostly marked with field stones that have nothing written on them. My great-aunt Maple Gregory is buried there. Perry Marks and Indianna Hubbard Marks are also buried there with headstones. That Perry is the grandson of Thomas and son of Hires "Hire" Marks.

If you have an email that you can provide me with, I have a gps screenshot that I can send you.

This is the best set of instructions that I have found about how to get there. "go up Cedar Creek, from US Route 33/119 between Glenville and Normantown. Go to Cedar Creek State Park, to Upper Two Run (the run that contains all the camp sites), head of the run, pass all camp sites and climb the hill, bear to the right, near the top of the hill (200 yards to right of the low-gap, where the old buggy road cuts deep into the hillside." In order to go this way, you will have to hike up the hill.

Cedarville State Park comes up before the town of Cedarville if you are coming from the North, driving down through WV.

Sincerely,

RE: cemetery location
Sorry, the last message should read as follows; Who's grave are you looking for? If I don't know, I have a couple of people I can call to check for you.

Sincerely,

RE: cemetery location
Mr. Marks,

The Cedarville Cemetery is well marked. The photo of the sign that I posted is on one side of the road. The gate is on the other. A photo of the gate is also visible on the page. Open up the gate and then close it again, and you will follow the gravel path up to the cemetery. The cemetery is on a mildly steep-sloped hill. I hope you have a good trip!

Sincerely,
Scott Tustin

RE: Samuels
I know this is a bit late, but yes that is how I made that connection. I love looking at family ties, and figuring out how People are connected. I have had Family members say, I don't know how you keep that in your head. LOL I am probably not as fast at, as I used to be.

RE: Samuels
I don't know much about the Samuels Family except what I have looked up or read about. I am just discovering in the last couple of years, information about my Great Great Grandmother Sarah Morrow Smith. My Grandmother never spoke of her Family, so I didn't know anything, about them.

Edd, thanks for your super-fast response to the edits I sent to you just last night. No relation or anything, just trying to make connections. I really appreciate your speed though!

Happy Easter!

May I use your headstone photo in my genealogy program? I always give credit!

Thank you for adding it to her memorial. She was a cousin.

RE: Drake Family
Thank you, Edd! I most certainly never take without asking and give credit where credit is due. Thank you for all the work you do and for sharing it with others.
