My families were in Polk County Arkansas where I grew up. I attended one-room and small schools until high school, when I was in a school (Mena High School) with fewer than 400 students. My Mena High graduating class was the class of '54. I now live in Texas, but my memories of "home" are of Mena, Polk County, Arkansas.
