Hi. Last week I was at this cemetery and photographed all of the existing markers, even the ones you could barely read, and uploaded them to this website so that Johnson Cemetery will be almost as complete. There are a couple that I couldn't find. The Pryor and Odom individuals are from my family (I maintain these pages). I also listed a few more individuals. If it is ok with you, I plan to do some further digging on the individuals to see if I could find more on their full names, dates, locations, etc, from the TN death certificates. I will send the additional information to you for updates. Would this be ok? All of these folks deserve to be remembered. Thank you for listing the folks at the cemetery.

My apologies for sending a message that you took offense to. It was certainly not my intention. I believe that I now can link her parents on the edit tab myself and if not I will resend the request.

Thank You,

I believe #37216460 is the same as #123839459. I will ask to manage #37216460 so I can transfer the info from #123839459 to #37216460.

Thanks,
Sherry

RE: cobb/hardiman
Charlotte, Looking through my land records on John S Cobb, I found in 1881 he bought a plot of land located on Turtle Creek in Kerr County.

There is a cemetery named Turtle Creek where his daughter Lucinda Cobb Coker Lowrance is buried along with her husband John. John S Cobb is not listed but that would be my best guess.

RE: cobb/hardiman
Charlotte, He is not buried in Kermit. I have a listing of the Kermit Cemetery. My family is buried there. My grandfather Calvin Cobb is the grandson of John. In 1900 Allen moved his family to Midland for a while and then he moved on to Lea County New Mexico and then on to Arizona.
John died in Kerr County after 1880 and before they moved to Midland. If he had died while they were in Midland I would think he would have been buried at Fairview Cemetery where his grandson Thomas Benton Cobb is buried.

I'm sorry but I've not published my tree. If you have a question I will be glad to answer you.
Nice to hear from you,
