The Hardamon name is spelled "Hardiman" in Limestone County AL and Giles County TN... somewhere in the shuffle when the Hardimans arrived in Natchitoches Parish LA, the name changed to "Hardamon."

Genealogists, please do not forget to include a woman's maiden name..! We tend to get lost in the genealogy shuffle....

James F Davis stone.
3rd attempt to say that I was in Macedonia Cemetery in May, 2015, for a family burial. While there we searched for the stone of James F.Davis which my mother & I had located in early 1990's. W e were unable to locate the stone in May, Any news of its whereabouts will be appreciated. Gwen Durrenberger

RE: Cass county cemetery books
OK thanks. I will have to take a drive to Harris Chapel (in the fall, too hot now) to check his marker. I think it was stolen and ended up in another county.
thanks so much for checking the burial location for me. He died in California, so I don't have a way to access the death certificate.
thanks again.

Cass county cemetery books
Hi Charlotte: Haven't messaged in awhile..hope you are doing well.
I have a question: don't you have the Cass County cemetery books? If so, would you be so kind as to look up and see if there is a James David Amox (b: 1933 d: 1995) listed as buried in Harris Chapel? His parents, Oscar David and Ola Christine are buried there. I took a photo of a stone that has been placed there for him, but I got a message from someone in another county in Texas that found a marker in another cemetery that was buried and he dug it up. He emailed me a photo of the stone and it an exact duplicate to the military stone in Harris chapel cemetery? I am wondering if the stone was stolen and ended up there or if he is, indeed, buried elsewhere and just a stone placed with his parents? Another mystery to it..
thanks for any info you can provide.

Pattillo family Cemetety
I am looking for information on the location of the Pattillo Family Cemetery which is located in Avinger, Cass County, TX. My wife's family has ties to the Pattillos and to the Kimbells who were in Hickory Hill area.
My question is, have you been to this cemetery? We went searching for it, but were unsuccessful in locating it. I did get some phone numbers of people who might know. I thought I would send you a message and see if you knew its actual location also.

Thank you,

Beulah V Kennedy Briggs was the wife of T. H. Briggs Jr. and not T.H. Briggs Sr. T.H. Briggs Jr. is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, Longview, Gregg co. TX.
T. H. Briggs Sr. (who is buried in the Hughes Springs Cemetery), wife Frances Letitia Allen Briggs died before 1880 and is buried in the old Niblett Cemetery farm which was adjacent to the Briggs farm. Thomas's sister Nancy Briggs was married to James M. Niblett Sr.
Thomas's residence burned in the spring of 1897.

Mary Louise Turner Morgan
Are Mary Louise Turner Morgan and Ray Turner brother and sister, not husband and wife? Could not figure out why headstone did not say "Morgan". Thank you for any info you have.
