This is what I have. The second obituary is for Jim's brother. It has more family information. Also, Homer and Edith Long of Red Sulphur were his foster parents.

August 22, 1957-February 15, 2012
ALDERSON — James Donald Gill, 54, of Alderson, formerly of Hinton, died Feb. 15, 2012 at an Alderson Care Home following a long illness.
Graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Upland Cemetery near Hinton with Evangelist Tim Spencer officiating. Friends may gather at the Upland Cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
John Buford "Bud" Gill, 54, of Tug Creek, Hinton, died Sunday afternoon, September 5, 2004 at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital, following a long illness.
Born July 22, 1950 at Buck, he was a son of the late John Ray and Ada Norene Foster Gill.
John was a lifelong resident of Summers Co., he was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church at Hix and was a handyman.
Survived by two sisters, Frances Adkins of Tug Creek, Hinton, and Barbara Miller of Elgood, four brothers, Donald Gill of Red Sulphur Springs, Joe of Tug Creek, and Harless and Roger both of Dayton, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-9 P.M. Tuesday. His neighbors and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Viewing Information: 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral parlor.
Funeral Information: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral parlor.

Our pleasure, Ralph. It was a great day for it, and we stopped off Kirks in Hinton. The tunnel at the end of Pawley Creek is quite an experience.
