Bio and Links
Bio Photo Geneology haas become a passion of mine. My sister and I, working in tandem, have uncovered quite a bit of family history. Our main family names are Lee, Blake, Muenks, Kaullen, Butler, Flood, Killelea, Garvey, Schmitt, and Leicht.

I am just getting started on Find a Grave as most of my time is spent doing research to fill in family tree blanks.

I have lived everywhere in the US and outside, but have been in Columbia, MO for the last 2 years.

William Edward Patrick, Jr.
I just read your post about my uncle, William Edward Patrick, Jr. All I know about your Aunt Dorothy is that she married my uncle. Could you tell me a little more about your aunt? I understand she had 2 children when she married Bill, but I don't know who her previous husband was. My uncle was a decorated colonel in World War II and also after the war where he served in China and the new country of Taiwan. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Andrew Stone
muenks info
Hi my name is Andrew Stone, my mother was Mildred Muenks. Her father was Peter Adam Muenks. Joe Muenks was his brother. I Remember uncle Joe from the Family reunions we had when I was a kid. (he had 1 bad eye). I remember him telling me how he had lost some of his toes when he was driving a chain drive Mack truck back in the 20's.
I have attached a photo I found in an old trunk while cleaning out my parents house this year.
It is our relative Peter Jacob Muenks. on the back it was first spelled out as Jacob Peter Muenks, with the Jacob crossed out.
his father Gerhard Muenks, went to the California gold rush with his brother and had hidden all their gold by sewing it into their buck skins so they would not get robbed. I have the Rifle they took with them. There is a gold nugget kept by our relatives' who live at the original homestead in Loose Creek Mo. (we had a reunion there one year.)
There is a face book page called Muenks roots are you signed up?
Maybe I'll see you at the next reunion.
I seen your post on find a grave.
thanks, whre can i post the photo? it did not past over to this email?

Muenks Family
Bridget-
Your profile indicates that you and your sister (could that be Mavis?) have become passionate about geneology.

Recently I have become quite interested in the roots of the Muenks clan. I visited Loose Creek, where our great, great, great grandfather emigrated in 1841. I was welcomed by dozens of Muenks.

The picture you have posted of Jacob Peter I have, too. Your grandmother, Margaret, is on the lower far left, right? My grandfather, Phillip Jacob is on the far right.

I hope to locate most of the decendants of Peter Jacob Muenks to carry the Muenks scroll down 2-3 more generations. Are you familiar with the scroll Joseph Muenks (1925-1997) made?

If you post back here that you are interested in collaborating, I will look you up and call you so we can share e-mails and research.

Later,

Joe Muenks (son of Phillip John, son of Phillip Jacob, son of Peter Jacob)
