Bio

I'm the youngest of 3 girls born to James and Marilyn Wrigley. We moved to the NW suburbs of Chicago in the late '60s. My interest in cemeteries started around that same time.

My parents would take us to St. Johannes where we could watch the planes take off and land at O'Hare Airport on runways just yards from the cemetery fence.

I will always feel sadness that the City of Chicago took this land to build more runways, forcing the removal of those who had been interred there years before O'Hare was even built. It may have been legal but that doesn't make it right.

I believe it's very important to document as much history as possible, which is why I enjoy volunteering to take photos at "my" local cemeteries.

I am mom to 2 wonderful young men and an infant daughter in Heaven. I also have 3 grandsons who I adore! I enjoy my work as a medical transcriptionist, which I've been doing over 40 years.
