Hello! Alan and I are a very family oriented couple. We have one son, Drew, who is the love of our life and keeps us going. He is currently in preschool, getting ready for Kindergarden this fall (2013). Our story: I lost my Mom back in 2000, and it was devastating. Alan and I met in 2005 through E-Harmony. At the time my father, both of Alan's parents and Alan's Aunt Mary were all alive (Aunt Mary lived with Alan's parents and was like a mother to Alan). About 2.5 months before our wedding in 2007, Aunt Mary passed away. The day of our wedding, Alan's Mom was unable to come as she was too ill. She had been in the hospital and was readmitted a week after our wedding. Alan's Mom passed away in November of 2007 (about 5 weeks after our wedding). Luckily we were able to tell her we had gotten pregnant on our honeymoon, so she knew she was going to be a first time grandmother! Alan's father moved in with us for a few weeks until we found him an apartment close by. At the end of February 2008 Alan went to visit his Dad when he got off work, only to find that in the 2 hours since he had spoken to his Dad, his Dad had passed away (3 months after his wife). Then, our son decided he wanted to come early, so a month before our due date, we found ourselves in the hospital to have him in early June. The day we were admitted, my father came for a quick visit, then left to run errands. During his errands, he was on his way to order flowers for me, and was involved in a car accident. He ended up passing away 6 days later (About 3 months after Alan's Dad). None of Drew's grandparents ever got to see or hold him here on Earth, but we know he has a huge cheering section up in Heaven right now! We miss our parents greatly and Alan found this site so that we could add memorials and honor our parents.
We are very into researching our geneaology so that we have tons of family history information (facts and stories) that we can pass along to our son. This site has been VERY helpful in finding graves for distant relatives. We are very thankful for all that we have! Thank you for visiting our page. Please leave us a message so we know that you visited and we will return the favor!
